I recently observed my oldest discus lacking appetite and while investigating noticed that its right gill is sticking out. I first suspected that it could be a gill fluke infection. I treated the fellow to some anti gill fluke for a few days and realized that its condition was not improving. I then started to further investigate the matter on google and then came to the another finding of it possibly being a bacterial infection on its right gill. I am not treating it with amoxicillin. I add in 500mg of amoxicillin each day.. I am not on the 2nd day. lets hope for the best!
